Why I chose Plymouth

"I chose the University of Plymouth as I had always wanted to study in the UK, and I knew that Plymouth was well known for my area of interest: Maritime Law degrees. The fact that I could complete in a fast-track way via a 1-year degree program in collaboration with Singapore Maritime Academy was also a factor in me choosing Plymouth. "

Securing a job after graduation

"Immediately after graduation, I joined DS Norden, starting their 2-year programme (doing a rotation in both dry bulk chartering and ship operations)."

"I am still with Norden right now; it's my second year, and I am working on the Panamax Chartering Desk."

"My Maritime Law modules at the University of Plymouth, and the case laws we discussed with Dr Gauci in particular, really helped me a lot when working with charterparty contracts in my job."
