"Plymouth gave me every opportunity to set myself up for a successful future."

Why did you choose Plymouth to do your degree course?

I chose to study in Plymouth because it struck me as a city and a university that would provide an excellent all-round student experience. I wanted my student years to be about furthering my academic interest and achievement as well as uncovering new social and life opportunities. Plymouth provided this in droves.

As a city, Plymouth is in a great location. It has the coast, a friendly atmosphere, and a thriving student population. The city is big enough so that there is never a dull moment or nothing to do, yet small enough to get involved with the local community and truly explore the surroundings.

Finally, I would say that the International Relations course is fantastic. The content is dynamic and stimulating, and its delivery orchestrated by individuals who are clearly passionate about their profession. I would not change a thing about it.

How have you found your time here?

My time in Plymouth has been really worthwhile. I have learnt a lot about myself and developed new skills. I am proud of what I have achieved and I feel that the University gave me every opportunity to set myself up for a successful future.

Would you encourage prospective students to study with us and why?

I would encourage prospective students to go to Plymouth. The taught classes were motivational, the facilities excellent, and extra-curricular activities plentiful.
