Postgraduate Masters Loans (PGML)
You may now be eligible for a government loan of over £11,000* to help towards the cost of your masters degree. Loans are available for both taught and research masters programmes across all disciplines and subject areas.

*A loan of up to £11,222 was available from August 2020, and a loan of £11,570 will be available for courses starting in August 2021. Please be aware the loan amount may change annually depending on when you start your programme.
Postgraduate Doctoral Loans (PGDL)
The government has announced the introduction of new doctoral loans worth up to £25,700 for new PhD students available from 2019/20. The loan can be spent on fees, study-related costs or to help cover living expenses.
