The University of Plymouth, in collaboration with other health education institutions and health organisations, are hosting a Health Showcase to celebrate 70 years of the National Health Service (NHS) in England.
Hands-on, interactive activities will be led by academic staff, current undergraduate students, healthcare researchers and health and social care professionals, providing a unique opportunity to find out more about life, careers and research within the health and social care sectors.
We will have a range of exhibitors from the fields of Medicine, Dentistry, Biomedical Science, Nursing, Midwifery, Psychology, Social Work and Allied Health Professions (Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Paramedic Practitioner, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, and Sport Therapy and Rehabilitation) for you to explore.
This event is open to all staff, students and members of the public who wish to explore health related professions or find out more about health research being conducted in the South West. This event is suitable for adults of all ages and families with children over five years of age.
For teachers wishing to attend this event with a group of school/college students, please visit our Schools and Colleges event page.
There is no need to book to attend this event: simply turn up and have fun.
