Events

The route into higher education can be complicated for some students. Our subject-specific interactive experience days are aimed at sixth-form and access students with an interest in studying at an undergraduate level.
Prospective students will be able to:
  • experience a range of hands-on activities in some of our state-of-the-art facilities
  • learn more about their area of interest
  • gather further information about career choices
  • speak to staff who could be teaching them
  • ask current students their views on studying at Plymouth
  • discover more about their course, student life at the University in general
  • come away with a participation certificate.

World’s Ocean Day

With a strong sustainability research profile in environmental and maritime sciences, as the 'Home of Marine Research in the UK, within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business we are passionate about our interdisciplinary programmes which enable students to pursue interests in environmental issues through arts, business, humanities, and social science perspectives.
