Taster days

These are visits to our campus focused around a particular subject that students are interested in studying at an undergraduate level.

Each day revolves around a key degree course or set of courses around the student’s area of interest. The day offers the opportunity for those considering studying at university to gain a better insight into their selected degree course and to gather further information such as; career choices, graduate opportunities, course availability and entry requirements.

The day will engage students in interactive talks and demonstrations by academics and technical staff, providing them with the opportunity to ask any questions they may have about the course or University of Plymouth. Student Ambassadors, who currently study on the chosen course, will also be available on the day and will be happy to answer any questions about student life at University of Plymouth. Throughout the day students will be able to network not only with our current students but also students with similar interests and career aspirations.

In addition to attending lectures and seminars students will also get the opportunity to have a campus tour by one of our current Student Ambassadors. This will allow the students to see our fantastic facilities, including our laboratories and studios.
