This 20 credit module, studied at degree or masters level, focuses on the principles and issues involved in delivering contraceptive services to women within the community setting. This includes comprehensive coverage of managing fertility and incorporates key competences to be gained in practice.
The module tutors will use a blended teaching approach utilising lectures, small group discussion, peer teaching, case studies, demonstrations, video, patient narrative and role play.
