When is Clearing?

Monday 6 July 2020
Clearing opens for those who have already had exam results or hold no offers.

Thursday 13 August 2020
Clearing officially opens on results day.

Sunday 16 August 2020
Online information day - learn more about Clearing through online chats with our lecturers and service areas.

Monday 21 September 2020
Clearing closes.

Who can apply through Clearing?

You will be able to apply through Clearing if you:

  • haven’t met the conditions of your offers
  • haven’t made a UCAS application this year
  • haven’t received any offers (or none that you wanted to accept).

Thought about a foundation year?

If you’re unsure whether a new academic direction is for you, or you don’t quite achieve the grades you expect, we provide a wide range of low-entry-tariff degrees with a foundation year that offer a strong basis to help students to perform to their full potential a during a four-year degree.

Adjustment also offers you the chance to find an alternative course or place to study if you do better than you expected in your exams. You will be eligible for Adjustment if you meet and exceed the conditions of your conditional firm choice offer.

Am I guaranteed student accommodation?

A room in University-managed halls, or from accredited private providers, is guaranteed to all students offered a place at Plymouth through Clearing.
