International scholarships

To reward outstanding achievement the University of Plymouth offers scholarship schemes to help towards funding your studies. You could get up to 50% off your tuition fees in your first year.
 

Entry requirements


Undergraduate

We require applicants to have completed the Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate (COHSC) / GCE A level. Applicants who have completed the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate (Higher Level) will also be required to complete a Foundation year (PUIC) or equivalent.

Postgraduate

We require applicants to have completed a Bachelor's degree OR a Bachelor’s honours degree / Professional Bachelor’s degree (post 2008) OR a Master’s degree with the following classification:

Namibian Degree Classification Namibian Degree Classification - GPA out of 4.00   Namibian Degree Classification - Grade   Namibian Degree Classification - Percentage   UK Degree Equivalent 
Distinction 4.00 A 80% - 100% 1st  
Very Good / Merit 3.00 B 70% - 79%  2:1 
Good / Credit 2.00 C  60% - 69%   2:2 


English language requirements

A recognised English language qualification (e.g. IELTS) would be required, or successful completion of one of the University of Plymouth's pre-sessional English Language courses.
