SOAK Live Art is a new platform for performance in Plymouth.
The Arts Institute is pleased to be supporting SOAK’s work to connect with local artists and develop audiences beyond mainstream theatre and galleries.
SOAK Salons are a place for conversation amongst performance artists and audiences. Alongside our regular Live Art night, these bi-monthly sessions at Leadworks will include artist-led talks and workshop-style activities. Each session is an opportunity to share responses to past performances and to gain new insights into artistic practice. The aim is to develop practice-based dialogue and build a creative community that supports new ideas.
SOAK Live Art is supported by public funding from Arts Council England.
This SOAK Live Art Salon series is supported by The Arts Institute, University of Plymouth.
SOAK Live Art is curated by Sarah Blissett and Kerry Priest.
