Start your day the right way with a cooked breakfast featuring a selection of hash browns, free-range eggs, locally sourced bacon, sausages and more. When you purchase four items, enjoy a free hot drink, leaving you fuelled for the day.
We're excited to bring back our rotating menus paired with mouthwatering sides. Indulge in dishes made from fresh, locally sourced seasonal ingredients. Anticipate delights like crispy cauliflower or chicken fajita tacos, Thai curries, classic Thursday roasts, and Fish Fridays.
Our diverse selection includes meat, vegetarian, and vegan options for both dine-in and takeaway at the North campus. Additionally, you can savour daily offerings of salads and jacket potatoes.
We take pride in offering Triple Certified (Fairtrade, organic, and Rainforest Alliance) coffee beans as our standard selection from Matthew Algie.

Just a reminder that the hot drink loyalty points offer utilising your staff and student card is no longer valid, payment via these methods is no longer accepted.

Friend Stop 

Meet new people, connect and share experiences at the cafe's Friend Stop.
Starting university may be a daunting experience, that's why the cafes on campus have created designated pop-up tables to encourage students and staff to sit, have a natter and make friends on our open and inviting tables.
Everyone is invited to sit at the Friend Stop; whether you're on your own or with a friend or colleague, take a seat, share the table and have a chat with new people.
Whether you stay for ten minutes or spend your time eating breakfast or taking an afternoon tea break, the cafes aim to bring everyone together.

The John Bull Cafe is located within the John Bull Building, on the Derriford campus at Plymouth Science Park (north Plymouth).
Plan your visit using our map of the North campus. Please note that there is limited visitor parking available on the Plymouth Science Park site. Please ensure you discuss parking arrangements prior to your visit. The site is permit parking only and penalty charges will be incurred if no parking arrangements have been made in advance.
