When applying for jobs or meeting employers at interview, some individuals may have circumstances that they are unsure about when or how to disclose, or if disclosure is even necessary. Such issues could include disability, health conditions or additional needs, criminal records, etc.
There may be times when disclosing is a legal requirement. You may also choose to disclose if you would like your employer to consider workplace adjustments.
Regardless of your circumstance it is important to know the legalities around this and to decide how to disclose in a way that you are confident with and that is positive and helpful.
