How you can support your student
- Encourage them to create a realistic budget and review it regularly
- Talk openly about money and encourage them to seek support early if they’re worried about their finances
- Where appropriate, help them to
explore part-time work that fits around their studies - If they’re experiencing unexpected financial hardship, encourage them to contact us in the
Student Hub to discuss eligibility for support funds - Encourage them to make use of the
University’s wellbeing and support services if financial worries are affecting their mental health or studies
