  • digital resources and online events to help you build skills
  • information on postgraduate programmes and self-employment options.

Find out more about careers and employability support for graduates

As you approach one year after graduating, the Careers Service runs a telephone campaign to check whether you need any support and advice on your employment options. If you would like to be contacted, please include your phone number when you opt-in to alumni communications.

Also available to you as a member of the alumni community:

  • Plymouth Connect, the exclusive online e-mentoring platform for Plymouth graduates and students
  • invitations to networking events and reunions
  • University news and updates through our magazine Invenite, and our regular newsletter
  • discounts on many of our postgraduate programmes
  • personal business start-up support and online events from The Cube
  • access to Santander Business Acceleration Awards for two years after you graduate.

Graduate Outcomes Survey

The national Graduate Outcomes Survey is the UK’s largest social survey and all students have an opportunity to take part 15 months after graduating. Your contribution helps create a national picture of student success after graduation, build the reputation of the university and shape the future of your programme, so please take the time to respond when it arrives.
