The Faculty EDI team is holding a day of talks, workshops and discussions to better understand and develop our approach to disability knowledge and leadership. Over the course of the day, we’ll be hearing from experts, practitioners, PGR students, the Staff with Disabilities Network, and from the CEO of Disability Right’s UK.
These three topics and principles will shape our discussions:
  • Disability Confident Scheme
  • Workplace culture
  • Education and research practice
     
Keynotes include:
During this event, we hope to achieve the following outcomes:
  • Engage colleagues in conversations about Disability
  • Provide a platform for experts and practitioners from within the Faculty and University to share their research and practice
  • Promote collaborative working practices
  • Promote collaboration with external partners
