What is enrolment?
New and returning students must complete enrolment at the start of every academic year to enrol on the correct stage of your course.
Completing enrolment is an essential first step to being officially part of the University of Plymouth and will enable you to gain access to your course timetable for the first time or activate your student loan (if you have one).
Being a student allows you to benefit from the University of Plymouth Students' Union, use facilities and services from the University, and have access to digital content including important
academic induction sessions.
Online enrolment opens on 14 August 2026 for all students enrolling on a foundation level or the first-year of their course (or repeating these stages) – eligible students will receive an email with instructions on how to set up their IT account and then enrol.
Returning students and anyone new to the University, but in an advanced stage of their studies, can enrol from 17 August 2026 onwards.
