Our learning is entirely online but with guided activities, reading and videos across our learning platform. It’s broken down into blocks to give you the information you need, whilst also allowing you time to expand your knowledge further in areas that interest you the most. It’s a flexible way of learning that allows me to focus on topics that interest me.

Further information

  • Courses are 100% online, and you will need reliable internet access and a computer with a speaker and a webcam.
  • You can study our online courses from the UK or overseas.
  • You will receive an overview of the course and each module before you begin, so you can plan your learning time around your other commitments.
  • Course content is usually released every one to two weeks and will be available at any time zone. Some courses may include live lectures, but these are not mandatory and will be recorded and accessible at any time.
  • Some courses may offer limited in-person workshops, but these are not mandatory.
  • Every course involves both directed learning, such as live or pre-recorded lectures, and independent learning, where you can conduct your own reading and research.

Tuition fee discount for University of Plymouth graduates

If you studied your undergraduate degree at Plymouth, you may be eligible for a fee discount if you complete your postgraduate studies here as well.
  • 10% or 20% discount on tuition fees for home students 
 
 

Postgraduate Masters Loans (PGML)

You may be eligible to apply for a Postgraduate Masters Loan to help with course fees and living costs while you study a postgraduate masters course.
Please note that to qualify for this loan, you’ll need to be living in England on the first day of the first academic year of your course. For full terms and conditions for this loan, visit the UK Government Master’s Loan Eligibility page. 
Please note that international scholarships are not available for online programmes at this time.
