Boosting the population’s resilience against diseases and preventing unnecessary admissions to acute care is critical if healthcare is going to become future ready. 
PIHR has a strong commitment and interest in addressing the wider causes of ill health. We have key strengths in public health and community healthcare and a strong-interdisciplinary focus to address the wider social, economic and environmental determinants of health inequalities.
