Placement partnerships teachers collaborating

The University of Plymouth offers an undergraduate degree in Primary teaching and PGCEs in Primary, Secondary and Post-16 sectors of education. Each of these programmes includes placements in schools, colleges and education settings.

Placement partnerships involve students, trainee teachers, teachers, university tutors and researchers in reflection on practice. Placement partnerships' scope includes working with the Early Careers Framework, mentors and providing continuing professional development opportunities while further developing professional networks.

Placement partnerships operate through a strategic group whose members are representative of the range and scope of UPPScale's ITE Partnership and the work of Plymouth Institute of Education.
