Changes to coastal morphology

Argus video data collected at Perranporth (installed 1996) and Porthtowan (new installation) provide a key source of information in assessing the morphological changes along the coastline in the lee of Wave Hub. Comparison of intertidal beach dynamics, especially in the form of bar/rip morphology, before and after Wave Hub installation, as well as a comparison between the two Argus sites, will form an essential component of this workpackage.

This will be supplemented with monthly 3D morphological surveys of the key beaches in the lee of Wave Hub.
