To reward outstanding achievement the University of Plymouth offers scholarship schemes to help towards funding your studies. You could get up to 50% off your tuition fees in your first year.

Entry requirements


We require applicants to have completed a Diploma van Secundair Onderwijs OR a Diploma van de Hogere Secundaire Technische School from the Flemish speaking community.

We require applicants to have completed a Abschlusszeugnis der Oberstufe des Sekundarunterrichts from the German speaking community.                                              

We require applicants to have completed a Diplôme d'Aptitude à Accéder à l'Enseignement Supérieur or the Certificat d'Enseignement Secondaire Supérieur from the French speaking community when awarded after six years of study. The most common marking schemes are 1 to 10 and 1 to 20.

We require applicants to have completed either a Licence OR a Licentiaat OR a Bachelor's Degree with the following classification:

80% - 100% Grande Distinction / La Plus Grande Distinction Met grootste onderscheiding 1st
70% - 79% Distinction Met onderscheiding 2:1
60 - 69% Satisfaction Met voldoening 2:2

English language requirements

A recognised English language qualification (e.g. IELTS) would be required, or successful completion of one of the university's pre-sessional English Language courses.
