We've tried to provide all the information you will need if you are thinking about coming to study at Plymouth University from Zimbabwe. If you need to know anything else, you can contact our team using the details below.

You would normally be expected to have a minimum of 3 ZIMSEC A levels to be considered for first year entry. The required grades will vary according to the programme for which you are applying. Please see the relevant course page for detailed A level requirements. In addition, you should have achieved a grade “C” in English and Maths in your ZIMSEC O levels.

If you only hold ZIMSEC O level or your A level points are not sufficient for first year entry, you will be required to take a recognised international foundation programme. Our partner college on campus, Plymouth University International College (PUIC), offers a wide variety of foundation courses.

We would usually expect you to hold a good bachelor’s degree from a recognised University. For our taught master programmes you should have achieved a minimum of 60 per cent in your bachelors; for our research programmes you should have achieved a minimum of 65 per cent in your bachelor degree.

You can apply for our postgraduate programmes online, by going to the relevant course page and choosing 'Apply Now'.

English Language

A recognised English language qualification (e.g. Zimsec O level or IELTS) would be required or successful completion of one of the University's pre-sessional English Language courses
