Institute of Education: Science
Plymouth Institute of Education (within the School of Society and Culture) courses offer many opportunities for work-based learning, which can lead to postgraduate study or a career in a range of educational and health settings. As well as conducting research into many aspects of education, you can undertake a wide range of masters, doctoral and CPD programmes.
The Plymouth Institute of Education's Humanities Department supports the BEd teacher training courses, PGCE, BA (Hons) Education and BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies. It provides a range of technical expertise to support the teaching of all aspects of primary and secondary school courses, including science, arts and humanities, mathematics and ICT.
Technical facilities to support these courses vary from science laboratories to educational greenhouses, robotics to PE equipment and arts and crafts to historical artefacts. A member of the technical team will be happy to facilitate your needs with expert help.
