Rolle 014–016: Music teaching and production
Rooms 014 and 105 are core teaching and performance spaces for the music programmes and offer a variety of configurations. They are home to the many musical societies supported by the faculty.
These spaces also provide a production suite environment for audio pre- and post-production, as well as recording. Rolle 016 is connected to 016A and 015 via audio patch panels so recordings can be made between the spaces. Rolle 016A houses a Yamaha upright piano, while 015 has a grand piano.
All music spaces in the Rolle building are accessed via key card, administered by the specialist technician in Rolle 012. Your can also borrow equipment appropriate to the modules and taught activities that take place within the department. A full list of equipment available can be found on the SmartHub.
Additional recording facilities are also available in the Scott Building.
