I work as a Professor of Dental Education and Honorary Consultant in Oral Surgery and heavily involved in education and clinical training of undergraduate and postgraduate students. I have a special interest in academic and clinical assessments of students. I am keen to engage and collaborate in pedagogic research with colleagues from other disciplines especially those related to healthcare education.

Proven track record in dental education for over 22 years which is supported by excellence in teaching, educational leadership and pedagogic research.

  • Exploring the value of simulated patients in undergraduate dental education.
  • Transfer of basic sciences knowledge into clinical disciplines.
