Engineering 4 Inclusion is a collaborative project between the University's School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics and Plymouth Institute of Education, funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering.
As part of the project and partnership with Plymouth Learning Partnership, Dr Suanne Gibson and Jen Shute from the University's Plymouth Institute of Education and Fayon Dixon of EqualEngineers are facilitating this free half day Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event for secondary STEAM subject teachers and leads, plus educators with pastoral responsibilities.
Content will include reflections on Belonging and what it means for individuals, personally and with regard to professional relations, plus the consideration of current challenges for young people and schools, and how we can make connections in between. This session will be interactive and provide opportunities to share best practice, learn from one another, and develop ideas to take back to school settings.
