The arts and culture programme promotes audience engagement, access to the arts, and directly supports emerging and established artists' careers. Please consider a donation to support development and delivery of our programme.

Open to everybody our arts and culture programme includes free open, ticketed and charged events. We offer a number of concessions, and many of our events are free for University of Plymouth students. Visit our what's on page to see upcoming events and book tickets.  
Featuring world-renowned artists alongside emerging talents, our exhibitions are free all year round (booking is not required). 
Free tickets for students 
Many events are free for University of Plymouth students as part of our Student Participation in Arts scheme (SPiA) scheme. Students automatically receive £100-150 credit to spend on films, music, talks, and dance and theatre performances. Look out for the SPiA logo on selected events. 
Concessions 
Concessionary rates apply to: 
  • University of Plymouth students, staff and alumni 
  • full-time students 
  • over 60s 
  • unwaged 
  • children under the age of 16 
Proof of eligibility may be requested. 
Online events 
Occasionally we run events online to ensure that our audience does not miss out.  
For online events, once you have booked your place you will receive a link to access the chosen event at the advertised date and time. On the day of the event, simply join via the link provided. 
Further information and advice on joining the event will be sent via email.  

Terms and conditions

All tickets are issued electronically via email. We no longer issue physical tickets however e-tickets can be printed at home. Please show your e-tickets to our Front of House team on arrival, either via a digital device or your printed version. 
Tickets cannot be reserved without payment.
For in-person events seats are unreserved and are on a first-come, first served basis.  
The Bridge reserves the right to change or cancel events without prior notice. Registered attendees will be informed of any changes to events via email. 
Tickets are non-refundable, except when an event has been cancelled by The Bridge. 
We recommend booking tickets in advance, however some events may have tickets available on the door. Please note we do not take cash.
