Why attend?
This is your chance to get an insight into postgraduate study at the University of Plymouth. At this event, you’ll be able to:
  • Attend a variety of talks and drop-ins highlighting the range of postgraduate and professional development opportunities available to you.
  • Chat with our postgraduate academics and get all your programme related questions answered.
  • Speak with our key service areas about the range of support available to our students, from careers advice to funding to student wellbeing, our dedicated support services are here to help you with any questions you have.
  • Get advice from the Admissions Team about your application.
  • Go on a campus tour with one of our current students to get a feel for our campus and its facilities.
  • Meet current students to find out what life as a University of Plymouth postgraduate student looks like.
After you have booked onto an event, we will keep in touch with you using the email address you registered with. In the lead-up to the event, we will send you a copy of the programme.

Rail discount

Travel by bus

As part of our partnership with Plymouth Citybus, we are offering free park-and-ride at the George Park and Ride site (PL6 7HB) for people who hold an invitation to our open day. Please use the 42C service direct from the George Park and Ride to the University of Plymouth. This service operates every 30 minutes from 7am until 7pm, then every hour until 10.59pm.
Please show your open day invitation to the driver on the date in question to gain access to the 42C service. This offer is valid for the invitation holder, and any additional passengers will be charged accordingly; a single ticket is £3, a day ticket £7 adult and £5.50 child (up to age of 18).
Please be aware that there are planned roadworks and building plans happening this year near the George Park and Ride. We ask all visitors using the Park and Ride to expect slight delays with the bus service, as well as traffic going in and out of the Park and Ride.
