Contractual requirements for placements
To become a student placement provider you will need to sign two contracts - the Workplace Agreement and the Learning Development Agreement

This is an agreement between the University and the placement provider.
It must be signed by both parties and be in place before students are placed.

This is an agreement between Health Education England and the placement provider. In the South West it is managed by Health Education South West (HESW).
The LDA is initiated by HESW, once the University has advised them that a student has been placed.
It enables HESW to pay the tariff to the placement provider at the end of the year.
