About Leonie
Leonie is a Digital Health Researcher at the Centre for Health Technology. With a background in Psychology, she completed her PhD on the use of social robots for delivering behaviour change interventions, exploring human-robot interaction within therapeutic contexts.
Her current research focuses on the co-design, implementation, and evaluation of digital health technologies in health and social care settings. Leonie collaborates closely with a range of stakeholders, including health and social care workers, charity groups, SMEs, technology developers and more, with the aim to develop and assess healthcare technologies in partnership with end users. She also has experience in translating co-design findings into practical toolkits to support wider dissemination and uptake.
