About Katie

I am a Senior Technician in Antimicrobial Resistance with Prof Mat Upton and the Antibiotic resistant pathogens research group.

I am also a member of the Oral microbiome research group, following a Post-doc secondment with Dr Zoe Brookes, (Peninsula Dental School) investigating the role of the oral microbiome in menopause-associated dry mouth (xerostomia).
