A lineup of expert speakers get ready to share their industry knowledge with PBS students.
In April, students, staff, and industry professionals came together for an unforgettable day of learning, networking, and inspiration at our Plymouth Business School building ( Fitzroy Building ). The event was a huge success — a vibrant celebration of creativity, career insight, and industry collaboration.
With a dynamic lineup of expert speakers from the worlds of social media, luxury branding, digital advertising, and media production, attendees were treated to exclusive behind-the-scenes perspectives from professionals who have worked with some of the biggest names in the UK and internationally.

Highlights of the day included:

  • Speaker presentations – Real-world insights from careers spanning TV, luxury goods, digital media, and public service communication.
  • Interactive Q&A sessions – Students engaged directly with experts, asking thoughtful questions and gaining deeper understanding of their industries.
  • Panel discussion – A lively exchange on the future of media, marketing, and brand strategy, touching on trends, challenges, and emerging opportunities.
  • Networking lunch – A relaxed setting for students and professionals to connect, share ideas, and explore potential collaborations.
Held in the Plymouth Business School Fitzroy Building , the event showcased just how valuable these kinds of industry engagements are not only for students exploring their career options but also for local businesses looking to connect with future talent and fresh thinking.
