Plymouth Business School is proud to have been invited to the 2025 Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) Global Forum, held in New York City during Responsible Management Education (RME) Week.
Hosted by the Cornell SC Johnson School of Business at Cornell Tech, this landmark event brought together 245 global leaders – deans, educators, students, and business executives – to discuss how business schools can drive the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) forward.

Representing Plymouth Business School, Dr Hanne Knight joined inspiring voices including Chelsea Clinton, who shared her insights on sustainability education; Andrew Karolyi, Dean of Cornell’s SC Johnson College of Business, who welcomed delegates with his trademark energy; and senior leaders from the UN Global Compact and the PRME Secretariat. The Forum also recognised cutting-edge contributions in sustainability research, student innovation, and responsible business case writing – placing education at the centre of global change.

Honestly, my mind is blown. The energy and enthusiasm I felt during these last few days are a testament to the amazing people that form the PRME community – a true community of like-minded people from around the globe.

We listened to inspiring speakers, engaged in fascinating breakout sessions, and even attended a reception at the United Nations headquarters. I return to Plymouth with new friends, new ideas, and huge enthusiasm for what lies ahead.
