The South West Liver Unit provides a comprehensive portfolio of clinical research and clinical trials at the Lind Clinical Research Centre.Therapeutic intervention trialsTherapeutic intervention trials are open and actively recruiting for new treatments for: Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) Hepatitis C Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) Alcoholic Hepatitis Long term ascitic drains. National registry studiesWe are also conducting national registry studies for: NASH (EPoS) UK AIH HCV Research UK UK PBC.
Recent recruitment successes have included: Regenerate Trial – We have been the highest recruiter to the phase 3 NASH trial outside of North America.Genfit Resolve-ITClinical research capabilities include:Multiparametric MRI (Healthy liver and NASH liver images below; with permission Perspectum diagnostics).
