InterCity Place: facilities for health professions, nursing and midwifery
Discover the new learning environments that will give students the knowledge, skills and experience to build careers in healthcare

Opening September 2023
It's amazing how all the health professions are going to be together. We work as a multidisciplinary team in practice and will when we are qualified, so having the opportunity to do that as students is ideal.
I was impressed by how spacious it is inside, how much light there is in the rooms. I feel like it is a really beneficial learning environment and a great place to learn and study in.
The simulation space will give me experience before I go on placement and will prepare me for what to expect while allowing me to develop my practical skills.

We know that the future of healthcare is effective teamwork, and bringing together our School of Nursing and Midwifery and School of Health Professions in a single high-quality shared environment will help us build the workforce of the future. These fantastic new facilities will enable us to introduce creative and innovative approaches to our learning and give our students the best possible immersive experience, so that when they graduate, they are ready and able to lead positive change in health and social care.
