A level To include C at A level Mathematics and grade C at second relevant subject. Relevant subjects include design technology, electronics, engineering, further mathematics, physics, pure mathematics, statistics, use of mathematics OR chemistry. Excluding general studies.
BTEC 18 Unit BTEC National Diploma/QCF Extended Diploma: DDM in engineering/science/technology BTEC. To include merit in mathematics as a core module: mathematics for technicians, mathematics for engineering.

Access Pass Access to HE Diploma with 33 Level 3 credits at Merit or Distinction, including 12 Level 3 credits at Distinction in Mathematics and 12 Level 3 credits at Merit in a second relevant subject.
IB International Baccalaureate: 30 overall to include 4 at Higher Level maths and 4 at Higher Level relevant second science/technology subject. English and mathematics must be included. A typical offer is 120 points to include C in Maths, C in second relevant subject in Science or Technology. Excluding General Studies.
GCSE English and Maths grade C / 4 or above or equivalent.
BTEC National Extended Diploma DDD in a relevant Science or Engineering subject. Must include Maths units. Candidates may be interviewed before an offer is made.

Scottish Qualifications Authority 120 points including grade C in a relevant subject at Advanced Higher Level (applied ICT; applied science; biology; chemistry; computing; DT (product design); DT (systems and control tech); DT (textiles tech); electronics; engineering; environmental science; maths/further maths; stats; physics; science; tech and design). Plus pass Higher level maths.
