iMayflower is an ambitious programme bringing together Plymouth’s creative talent and excellent digital resources, with the city’s existing strengths in sectors such as healthcare, marine, manufacturing and cultural tourism. Central to this is iLEAD, a new development programme for leaders in Plymouth.

By supporting and nurturing people power, iLEAD will build participants capability to support the regeneration and transformation of Plymouth and the region. Good leadership will be critical to mobilising efforts across sectors to make this a reality; not just valuable now but essential for future prosperity.

Delivered by Nous’ expert team, iLEAD is a bespoke 12-month programme that will create and embed an ecosystem of talent to challenge conventional wisdom and shape and grow social and economic prosperity. As Plymouth re-opens and the economy reboots, it encourages creative and cultural leaders to join forces with others from different sectors to create a progressive leadership model and deliver a dynamic new vision for the future.

The Grand Challenge

A core component of iLEAD is the Grand Challenge.

The Grand Challenge is designed to enable the iLEAD cohort to work collaboratively to develop innovative projects that respond to real world challenges and opportunities in Plymouth around three key themes, and link to the overall aim of the iMayflower programme, which is to deliver a sustainable step-change in Plymouth’s Creative Economy and make Plymouth a more attractive place to live, work and visit.
