University of Plymouth Polyclinic: your health matters
The University’s Polyclinic provides holistic student-led care supported and supervised by clinical and academic staff from across the Faculty of Health, giving the community access to health and wellbeing advice and patient education.

Free nutrition advice sessions – Wednesday afternoons during June and July 2023

Dietetics students will provide one-to-one consultations providing advice, help and support on a range of issues including:
  • nutrition in later life
  • gut problems, such as heart burn, irritable bowel syndrome and diahorrea
  • nutrition for a healthy heart – how your diet can affect blood pressure, cholesterol and conditions such as pre-diabetes
  • healthy eating on a budget
  • food and mood – is your mood affected by your diet?
The sessions will be run at Eldertree Befriending, 3 Tresillian Street, Cattedown, Plymouth between 1pm and 4pm every Wednesday from 29 May to 2 August 2023.
