The Plymouth Astronomical Society (PAS) meets every month at Plymouth University. Society meetings are free to members and visitors are very welcome to attend at a cost of £2 on the door.

David is the PAS Patron and is currently Chair of the Steering Board for the UK Space Agency. He was President of the Royal Astronomical Society from 2012-14.

Claire is a Research Fellow in the Astrophysics Group at the University of Exeter.

  • Binocular Astronomy, by Stephen Tonkin 
Stephen has a monthly column on this topic in the Sky at Night Magazine. He runs two interesting websites – The Binocular Sky and The Astronomical Unit

Allan is a historian at Wadham College, Oxford and is President of the Society for the History of Astronomy.
