The annual NIHR Academy Members’ Conference will be held on 21 and 22 October 2025 as a hybrid event with in-person attendance at The Queens Hotel, Leeds, and online streaming for a virtual audience.
The event is a fantastic opportunity for early career researchers to hear from inspiring speakers, network with peers and understand more about the NIHR. The conference may be of interest to NIHR Academy Members who are currently undertaking a career development post and whose academic career development is being supported through NIHR Programme project funding.
To be eligible to attend in person, delegates should be an NIHR Academy Member – including NIHR INSIGHT masters students – who is currently on an NIHR academic path and undertaking a career development post that is being supported through NIHR Programme project funding. NIHR INSIGHT masters students from the Universities of Plymouth and Exeter are encouraged to attend.

Please note: anyone who is not allocated a place for the in-person conference will automatically be registered to participate in the virtual event. Virtual conference attendance: the opportunity to live stream the conference is open to all.
In-person registration closes on 5 September while virtual attendance registration remains open until 21 October.
