Could your students change the law, influence government policy, or help solve a global challenge?
VOTE16 is an exciting, interactive event offering students a series of immersive workshops, debates and voting challenges. They'll explore how the decisions we make as individuals can shape our communities, our country and the wider world.
As discussions continue around extending voting rights to 16 and 17-year-olds, there's never been a more relevant time for young people to discover how democracy works and why their voice matters. At VOTE16, students won't just learn about these issues, they'll experience them for themselves.
Led by academics and PhD students from the University of Plymouth, students will tackle real-world challenges, defend their views, cast their votes and see firsthand how different decisions can lead to very different outcomes.
This event is open to Year 11, 12 and 13 students with an interest in current affairs, politics, law, criminology, social justice or making a difference in the world around them.
