Researcher's toolkit training for workshop leaders

The key benefit of our workshops is that they were designed by PhD students, and are peer-delivered. We have a fantastic group of postgraduate workshop leaders who have been there and done it, and they are incredibly passionate about sharing their knowledge and experiences. Some of our workshop leaders are students who previously attended workshops, and appreciated them so much that they wanted to be a part of them.

The following resources have been developed to help train future workshop leaders.

Workshop Leader positions are open to PhD students from any faculty who are in their second year.

To find out about position availability keep an eye on Student Jobs operated by the Careers Service

You can also contact  Sarah Kearns in the Doctoral College for more information.

Much as I appreciate we are the ones leading the workshops, I felt I learned a lot from the training and delivery of this workshop myself. Just knowing its OK not to be OK and to find things difficult and challenging is such a relief.
