Important dates for the current academic year

Please find below a list of important dates for the 2020–2021 academic year. 

These dates are based on our standard semester dates for taught programmes. For information on programmes that have non-standard semester dates, please see non-standard programmes.

Research degree programmes' start dates are normally 1 October, 1 January and 1 April of each year and the academic year runs from 1 August to 31 July.

*Please note that programmes in the Faculty of Health may have different dates and you should check these with the faculty.
