My journey here to BRIC started way back in the early 1980's in the IT controls department of an oil company, a place filled with magnetic tapes, trolly loads of printed reports, a mainframe that was switched off every night and a very intimidating room full of key punch girls. Fast forward through desktop computers, pagers, laptops, the millenium bug, mobile phones and cloud computing and here I am supporting the amazing research and teaching activities at BRIC.

Away from work I am an improving beekeeper, volunteer IT help for Totnes Caring and lead a mental health running group.
