Used by everyone from undergraduate to professor, teaching samples to research the workshop prepares samples for analyses by a variety of means, whether it be geochemical, polished blocks or paleomagnetic.
Qualifications
I qualified from the University of Plymouth in 2005 with a BSc (Hons) Geology and Ocean Science, I then followed this up with a MSc Global Environmental Change, completed in 2006, also at the University of Plymouth. From there I worked offshore on drilling rigs for 10 years, drilling exploration and appraisal wells mostly in the North Sea. The last 3 years of my time offshore was spent working as a Wellsite Geologist for NAM/Shell offshore Netherlands.
