Campaign Development - Development Office (External Relations)
As Campaign Development Manager, working with the Director of Development and senior leaders, I develop a portfolio of ambitious, high priority projects from across the University; the institution’s strategic fundraising Campaign Shape the Future.
Defined by the University’s mission to Transform Lives and make a positive impact on society, the Campaign, through an integrated marketing and communications plan, mobilises and aligns support from the University’s current and prospective supporter base, including donors, friends, partners, alumni, stakeholders, staff and students.
Through the Campaign we also leverage value and opportunities to grow student experience and employability, research, and the local, national and international profile of the University.
I lead a team of experienced marketers, each having individual responsibilities for projects and audiences, and an extended team from across the wider Development Office and External Relations Directorate to deliver the Campaign which covers the following areas of expertise within the University: Art, Culture & Heritage; Enterprise; Health & Medicine; Innovation & Technology; Marine & Environment and The Plymouth Approach.
In addition to Campaign, I am also responsible for the marketing strategy for the University's public Arts programme, Peninsula Arts.
