Pedagogic research

Resources to inform and support your work

The University of Plymouth has a strong standing in pedagogic research. From 2012-2019 the University hosted the Pedagogic Research Institute and Observatory (PedRIO) which focused on researching higher education pedagogy, policy and process.
You can access PedRIOs selection of Occasional Papers below. If you are interested in undertaking pedagogic research the 7 Steps resources can support you in developing ideas about what to research, how to undertake a project, how to develop international connections and how to get your work published. There are opportunities to access funding for pedagogic research from a range of funders including Research Professional, SEDA Small Grants, Vitae and ERASMUS+.
