Save event Add this to your calendar
This is an interactive workshop exploring the economics behind the choices young people make about food and money.
Why is food getting more expensive? How can we make our money go further? What influences what we buy? Why is good food thrown away, and could sharing it make a difference?
Through practical challenges, real-life scenarios and discussions, participants will explore how prices, limited budgets and everyday choices shape what we eat and what gets wasted.
They will discover food-sharing initiatives in Plymouth, share their views and develop creative ideas for making food more affordable, reducing waste and supporting local communities.
Attendance at this event is by invitation only. If you are a school or college interested in booking, please contact Dr Mojisola Olugbode at mojisola.olugbode@plymouth.ac.uk
