International scholarships

To recognise outstanding achievement, the University of Plymouth offers scholarship schemes to help fund your studies. You could receive up to 50% off your tuition fees in your first year.
 

Entry requirements

Undergraduate

We require applicants who have taken the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)/Intermediate Certificate to successfully complete an international foundation year or equivalent. Our partner college on campus, University of Plymouth International College (UPIC), offers a wide variety of foundation courses.
You can apply to study a bachelors degree from year one if you have a bachelors degree from a recognised Bangladeshi institution, with at least two years of study. 

Postgraduate

We require applicants to have completed a three-year bachelors (honours) degree followed by a one- or two-year masters degree from a recognised university in Bangladesh. 
Those with a four-year bachelors degree from a recognised Bangladeshi institution may also be considered for postgraduate study.
GPA out of 4.00 Percentage  Classification UK degree equivalent
3.75 75% First class/division 2:1
3.0 60% Second class/division 2:2

English language requirements

A recognised English language qualification (e.g. IELTS) would be required, or successful completion of one of the University of Plymouth's pre-sessional English Language courses.

I was really impressed with the way the University works and handles situations... I believe the experience and exposure I gained during my programme strengthened my willingness to choose Plymouth for my doctoral studies.

There is so much that I love about the University of Plymouth. 24/7 access to library is the best thing. There are also a number of societies that help you to make friends, indulge in your hobbies, and improve your skills.

It is quite different to stay here in Plymouth compared to Bangladesh. It is an incredibly beautiful city with nice and friendly people, so anyone can settle down in a brief period. There is a lot to do, visit and enjoy in Plymouth and the best part is the ocean that is not too far from the University.
