Fundraising for a meaningful project or in memory of a loved one is a wonderful way to express your support.
We are so grateful for the philanthropic support we receive for various projects across the University, all of which benefit from this generous source of funding.
Much of your support goes towards the world-leading medical research in our laboratories. From brain tumour research, to Huntington’s disease, MS, and Parkinson’s disease – your support will help drive our research towards new treatments, therapies, and cures, helping patients and their families.
Our team can support you in your fundraising, whether you’re taking part in a marathon, cake sale, virtual quiz night or even simply donating the cost of your daily commute when working from home, no gift or event is too small.

Running his 400th park run in memory of his best man

When John’s best man and friend died of a brain tumour, he wanted to do something. His upcoming 400th Park Run gave him the occasion to do just that. And thanks to his friends generous sponsorship – John had to complete the 5k course in a full gorilla suit!
